one awesome youth group!
The Joint Youth Ministry seeks
to serve Jesus Christ by walking alongside young people as they make their
faith journey personal. The Joint Youth
Ministry program provides different ways for that personal relationship to
grow:
- Youth Group
- Sunday School
- DIg Deeper Bible Studies
- Confirmation
- Summer Camps
- Service Projects
- Jammin' at the Jacobs
- Junior
and Senior High Leadership teams
- and more!
Our Summer calendar is a bit different from the shcool year. During the school year youth group meet as follows.
Junior
High meets together weekly on Sunday nights at 4:30pm
Senior
High meets together on Sunday nights at 7:00pm

Updates from last week in the Joint Youth Ministry
We had a great youth group last night. We said goodbye to our graduates and prayed for the next steps in their spiritual journey. We told our outgoing 8th graders about high school youth group and what to expect when they move up next Sunday. I also met with a few of our incoming 6th graders and had a lot of junk food and even a little bit of food fighting. These new ones are wild! I can’t wait to welcome in a bunch of new 6th graders this upcoming20Sunday.
I want to make sure you make note on your calendars that we have decided to do Sunday night youth group the same times for the 2008-2009 school year
4:30pm Junior High
6:00pm Worship Band and either Dance Team or Choir
7:00pm Senior High
However, because of the overwhelming response to the survey we have decided to do all of our small group programs all on Wednesday nights in the school year. We will call it “Wednesday Night Live” and the details about it are described below. I wanted to give you a heads up about it as you plan your school calendars, scouting,=2 0lessons, sports, dance, drama and family nights.
1st Wednesday of the month is High School Bible Study-
7pm-8:30pm
2nd Wednesday of the month is Junior High Bible Study -7:00pm-8:30pm
3rd Wednesday of the month is Leadership team/Student leaders- 7:00pm-9:00pm
4th Wednesday of the month is Guy night/Girls night-
7pm-8:30pm
Although Sunday night youth groups are extremely fun, wild, packed and faith based, these smaller Wednesday night groups are where most teens dig deeper in their faith, feel safe asking tough questions, and grow in their knowledge of God. I highly encourage your teen to join us for at least one Wednesday night a month.
The Joint Youth Ministry strives
to meet the emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of teenagers in a
relevant
way while sharing the healing and life changing power of Jesus.
The youth are
from all over San Jose and are leaders in their church, school
and
community. Anyone is welcome to join us at youth group or at any of
